Several winter sports have wrapped up their 2025-26 seasons, with multiple district athletes competing in state tournament play during the month of February in dance, nordic ski, gymnastics, boys swim and dive, wrestling and adapted floor hockey.

Osseo Senior High's (OSH) HOSA - Future Health Professionals demonstrated outstanding performance at the Region 1 Mid-Winter Conference on Jan. 5. The conference serves as preparation for the Minnesota HOSA State Competition in March. 

Megan Thompson, social studies teacher at Osseo Senior High School (OSH), has been named a recipient of the Teaching America250 Awards by the Jack Miller Center. Thompson is among 51 educators across the United States selected to receive this honor in celebration of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. The 51 teachers selected represent each state and Washington, D.C.

Congratulations on the hard work and creativity of the district students who submitted their work to the Minnesota Scholastic Art Awards. Works are submitted from high schools throughout Minnesota each year. The art is submitted in 16 different categories: ceramics, drawing, photography, painting, sculpture, portfolio, fashion, printmaking, design, film, mixed media, jewelry, digital art, expanded projects, comic art, editorial cartoon and architecture.
